VENTILATED FACADE: Ventilated faced is must for various reasons. There must be space between the cladding and wall. Thermal insulations benefits are:
HEAT : In hot/warm weather, the moving air will make the inner layer cooler. This reduces the heat transfer from cladding to the wall. Thereby reducing the demand for cooler energy.
COLD : The designed cavity will allow the air to circulate due to pressure differential created by the height of the building in cold climate. This will help in drying of moisture on the rear of the cladding or in cavities. -
